About us.
... part of God’s world-wide family ...
We, at New Inn Congregational Church, are a group of Christians who are part of the world-wide family of God's people. We meet together to worship God because it is to Him we owe everything.
... from all backgrounds ...We are from every age-group and, originally, from all parts of the UK. Some of us are in school; some have various jobs; some are wives and homemakers; some are enjoying retirement years but we all have one thing in common: we believe that it is through the Lord Jesus Christ alone that we can come to God the Father.
... enjoy reverential worship ...We enjoy gathering together for worship in a quiet, reverential manner on Sunday mornings and evenings. We love to hear clear, practical teaching from the Bible through our Pastor and visiting ministers. The Bible is at the heart of all we do together and is our guide book for every day of the week. Sunday to us, however, is a special day, when we gather together to obtain rich spiritual supplies for the coming week.
... hope for eternity ...We realise that we live in a world where all is not well. Indeed, a number of the members of the church know real testing in one way or another. With God at the centre of our lives we have a hope for this life and the one to come - and it is that hope which gives an inner joy even when life outwardly is difficult.
... facilities for all needs ...Our premises have been adapted to accommodate as many needs as possible. There is wheelchair access at both the chapel and the hall to the meeting places and the toilets. The chapel has loop facilities for any who have hearing difficulties. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for all to enjoy our services.
... parents and children ...Parents with young children will be pleased to know that baby-changing facilities are available. Also, in the chapel, the service is relayed to an adjoining room where young children can be looked after while at the same time the service can be heard.
