His friends and family looked on in horror. Their hopes and dreams were crashing down around them. Jesus, the man they had thought to be God's chosen King and Rescuer, the Christ, was being nailed hands and feet to a wooden cross before their very eyes.

No-one saw it coming. But God in fact was using the greatest human suffering in history to bring about the greatest rescue in history. The cross was to be the long awaited answer to thousands of years of promises, and the fulfilling of pictures laid down through the ages.

As Easter approaches, this mini-series examines how Jesus' death on the cross, and it's meaning for us today is wonderfully foretold in three Old Testament events.
